Suzie Boyd Founder and President
Suzie Boyd is the founder and President of Caballo Loco Midstream, located in Midland, Texas. Suzie’s background and wide range of industry contacts creates unique opportunities for her to capture benefits for her clients. Throughout her 35 year career in the Oil Patch, Suzie has experience in Reservoir Engineering, Asset Acquisitions and Divestitures, Gas Gathering and Processing, NGL Transportation and Fractionation, and Crude, Gas and NGL Marketing. Her experience includes time spent with Mobil Oil, Duke Energy Field Services, Enterprise Products, Crosstex Energy and Texon.
Suzie is highly experienced in gas contracting and negotiating. She has managed a large portfolio of gathering and processing assets, leading teams to accomplish major expansions through acquisitions and joint ventures. Suzie was instrumental in the development of a grass root gas plant and NGL rail terminal in the Permian Basin.
Suzie is a 2-time past President of the Natural Gas Society of the Permian Basin, a past Director of the Petrochemical Feedstock Association of America, Past Director of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association, Past President of the MagPegasus Federal Credit Union and active in the Gas Processors Association and New Mexico Oil and Gas Association.
Sharon Tischer Gas Marketing Director
Sharon Tischer has 35 years’ experience in Gas Marketing and Scheduling, NGL Optimization, and Gas Gathering and Processing. Sharon has purchased gas for multiple Permian plants, managed gathering systems, and directed Transportation and Logistics to optimize NGL flow from 19 Permian plants on multiple NGL pipelines. Sharon supervised a group of schedulers and gas controllers keeping 1 BCFD flowing. Sharon previously worked for ARCO Oil and Gas and DCP Midstream.
Sharon is a member of the Natural Gas Society of the Permian Basin and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of My Community Federal Credit Union, where she is currently a Director.
Bart Collins Operations Director
Bart Collins is a Senior Operations Advisor for Caballo Loco Midstream. Bart’s background in the midstream sector of the petroleum industry has been very diverse having worked both as laborer and Director within many different assets. Throughout his 42 years of experience, he has held various manager and director positions over all aspects of natural gas processing activities including measurement, low and high pressure gathering systems, compression, gas plant operation, and H2S/CO2 treating as well as sulfur recovery.
Bart is highly experienced in the budgeting processes of midstream operations including operation expense, maintenance capital and investment capital. He has directed operating expense budgets in excess of $130 MM. His experience includes time spent with Phillips Petroleum Company, GPM Gas Services, DEFS/DCP Midstream, and Energy Transfer (Regency Energy Partners). He served as Senior Regional Director of Operations for the Regency Energy Partners combined assets in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico prior to joining the Caballo Loco Midstream Family.
Bart has a significant amount of experience as well performing M&A activities participating in many successful mergers and acquisitions for all of those prior relationships.
Vance Taylor Commercial Manager
Vance Taylor is a seasoned Commercial Representative in the midstream pipeline industry with over 18 years experience specifically in the area of producer services. In the role of Commercial Representative, Vance managed the commercial activities in the East, Gulf Coast and Permian Basin regions.
Those activities included negotiating and consummating existing and new gas purchase, processing and transportation agreements between the pipeline and small to midsize producers, often dealing with complex issues such as gas quality (i.e. CO2, H2S & Nitrogen). Vance was able to successfully negotiate these deals by determining the needs of the producer, having a thorough knowledge of the pipeline system in the region and understanding the competition’s pipeline capabilities. Other projects included due diligence relative to acquisitions and growth opportunities. Past experience includes time spent with Enron, American Electric Power, Energy Transfer and DCP Midstream. Vance has been active in the Natural Gas Society of East Texas and the Permian Basin.
